Rumen’s sister and mother are hens and lay about one egg a day. Eggs are very prominent in Bulgarian and Ukrainian art. Below are some painted Ukrainian eggs. But any design is fun to draw.

Students can draw a large egg or several smaller eggs on a sheet of paper. Using crayons, colored pencils or water color paints, they can decorate their paper eggs.
A variation on that theme would be a piñata of an egg.
Another egg-based activity is the now famous plastic Easter eggs with various symbols of the Easter story. There are lots of possibilities adapting that.
