Activity for Boris of the Black Sea Story

Storms at sea can quickly become devastating. So can storms on land, as those of us living in the Midwest know. Find a Lutheran Church that has been affected by a bad storm or other catastrophe. The coasts are often affected by hurricanes. Make a card for a child or teenager at such a church. You might want to tell them a little about yourself. They’ll appreciate your prayers so that’s a good think to include.
Start a prayer list and include the teens and kids at the church your class has selected. It is so easy to promise to pray for people but it’s also easy to forget to do that. You could keep the list on a computer, or make it a bookmark.
Writers, storms are dramatic events that can keep your readers involved in your story. As Christians, they create opportunities to witness to unbelievers about God’s care and the hope of eternal life. Someone coming to faith is the happiest ending possible for any story. Write a story about a bad storm in which one or more characters are believers, and one or more are unbelievers.
Athletes, there are a lot of accomplished Bulgarian athletes. Soccer is very popular in Bulgaria but so are some other sports. Write an article about a Bulgarian athlete or team.
